emotional waves is the final outcome of my residency at L’Abri Genève. By reinterpreting the visual and narrative codes of pop music through the creation of a fictional album, this project reinvents the bond with my ex-partner, Avril, four years after our breakup. Using cheesiness as a creative tool to generate texts and images it questions the role of the other after the mourning of a romantic relationship : the representation of a connection, neither romantic nor purely platonic, where love shapeshifts indefinitly.
